THIN REPAIR CONCRETE SLABS
	Both organizations have experienced problems in the field when performing these types of repairs. Consequently, planning was initiated for a cooperative effort to obtain the necessary test data and information on materials that could be used for these types of repairs including durability studies at Treat Island. Ten thin repair concrete slab specimens were installed in 1995. The 10 candidate materials are described in the DATA Table.
This program involves a joint investigation between U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station and the Bureau of Reclamation to identify commercially available materials appropriate for thin repair of concrete surfaces.
