This phase was undertaken to evaluate the performance of air-entrained, semi-lightweight concrete incorporating 50-mm long steel fibres. The nominal cementitious material content of the mixtures investigated were 375, 500, and 625 kg/m3 including 13.5 percent fly ash and 6.5 percent silica fume. The steel fibres were used at the rate of 2.5 percent by mass of concrete. |
