This phase is a joint CANMET/Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI, Palo Alto, U.S.A.) undertaking, and deals with the performance of air-entrained, high-volume fly ash concrete incorporating ASTM Class F fly ash from eight different sources in the U.S.A. The water-to-cementitious materials ratio was 0.30 with nominal cement and fly ash contents of 150 and 210 kg/m3, respectively. Large dosages of HRWRA were used to achieve high slumps. |
