The aggregate and riprap databases provide search capabilities for locating information, such as location or test result, about concrete aggregate and stone riprap as documented in Technical Memorandum (TM) 6-370, developed by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). TM 6-370 contains the results of testing and evaluations conducted on thousands of aggregate pits and stone quarries throughout the continental United States and Alaska dating back to the 1950s. The databases can be used as a quick reference source of aggregate and stone locations for design and construction. The data are updated as new test information becomes available from the Corps' project laboratories and contract laboratories. Sources may be searched by state, zip codes, material or geologic rock type, and other comparable properties of a material. The most current data will be shown first, followed by previous test data in chronological order. The data may include the results of all tests performed by ERDC, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Division Laboratories, the USACE District project quality assurance laboratory, or commercial quality assurance/quality control laboratory pertaining to the selection of concrete aggregates and stone riprap proposed for a project. The data contained in these databases are for information purposes only. They are provided through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' ER (Engineer Regulation) 1110-1-2005 as a comprehensive source of information. | |||||
